Sandrine Holt is the daughter of Sandrine Ho. She was born in London the 19th of November, 1972. She is a daughter of Chinese as well as French parents. At the age of five she moved to Toronto in Canada and has called it home since then. She was a catwalk model at Paris prior to becoming an actress. Her debut film was Annuka as Annuka in Black Robe (1991). Her role in this film was nominated by The Genie Award (Canadian Oscar). The movies Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer followed as well as guest performances in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. In John Woo s The Thief she was an integral part of the series for 22 episodes. The movie Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was released in 2004 which is only available on DVDVHS and Resident Evil Apocalypse. In 2006, she managed to get a bigger part in the series 24 - Twenty Four and Runaway. Her career started with appearances on TV as guest stars as well as in films of lesser size. Holt then took the role of a leader in Hostages, in 2013, as well as a supporting character in Netflix's House of Cards. The Returned, the US version of The Returned, Holt played Julie Han. She was also cast in the character of Dr. Bethany Exner in 2015.
